If you are planning other cosmetic dental procedures such as veneers or composite bonding, in office whitening is recommended in order to ensure a better match between your natural dentition and the dental restorations.

The Zoom procedure takes less than an hour, and a regular dental cleaning is recommended prior to the actual procedure whitening session. There is a short preparation to protect the lips and gums while leaving the teeth exposed. The gel is then applied to the teeth for 15 minute increments for a total of 45 minutes while the light is activated. During this time you can relax, listen to music, or watch tv. Immediately after a combination of vitamin e oil as well as a sensitivity reducing relief gel is applied to minimize sensitivity after the procedure.
